Denver Academy is proud to announce that we awarded over 1.1 million dollars to 117 families for the 2009-2010 school year. We understand the sacrifices our families make to send their students to our school. This year 31 percent of DA families received our financial support and were able to enroll their students at Denver Academy. Our financial aid committee takes its responsibility very seriously and wants this process to be fair and equitable to all families who apply. Please keep the following in mind when completing your financial aid application:
- Reported household income must include the income from all adults who are living in the home or contributing to living expenses.
- Reported income must be that of the household in which the child resides, including any additional support from other parties.
- The financial aid award or the ability to qualify may be affected if both adults in a two-parent household are employable but one is not working (all children being of school age).
- Returning Denver Academy families and those families with more than one child at Denver Academy will be given priority when considered for financial awards. This can only be guaranteed if the application is received by the first allocation in April (April 1st) and the re-enrollment packet has also been submitted.
